| - First time staying here for business. Booked 4 nights Mon-Fri and on Wednesday night I heard knocking on my door at 9:45pm. I was staying in a 1 bed suite so I had my bedroom door closed while watching tv. By the time I heard the knocking and got to the door, some guy in plain cloths, no name badge, had already opened the door. WTF? He saw me approach and told me I was supposed to be checked out earlier today. WTF #2. Told I'm booked until Friday and the lady who checked me in confirmed that I'm booked for 4 nights while checking me in. Kind of spooked, I called the front desk and they asked me who the person was. How am I supposed to know? I'm asking you!
In any case, she ends up telling me the same thing the guy said, that I'm supposed to be checked out already. I told her they made a mistake and I should be booked thru Friday. She just said ok we'll book you thru Friday. No "sorry for the inconvenience" or even a hint of acknowledgement that they messed up. Went to the front desk to make sure this is kosher. Talked to the lady who I was on the phone with, and the other front desk guy just kept repeating that they've been trying to reach me all day on my cell and my room. WTF #3. Didn't get a single call on my cell from HI. I got back to my room by 8pm and no calls until the incident. Used the phone in my room to call my cell and of course it rings. HI, if you're reading this, your front desk phones are probably faulty.
Let's give them the benefit of the doubt they have really tried calling, but it was just their nonchalant attitude that really got me writing this review. The guy at the front desk who seemed to have more experience almost seemed annoyed but had to say his obligatory corporate & insincere "sorry".
Other than that, they have a really nice looking and smelling lobby but the suite has the "people used to smoke in this room long time ago" smell. Wouldn't stay again
