Took my mother in to Extra Urgent Care with severe distress. While waiting to be seen, the receptionist turned in the TV at a loud volume to a very annoying movie. We asked that she turn it off as my mom is very sick and the last thing she wants is to be annoyed by an obnoxious movie. We were told NO, we can't turn it off, its company policy and there is one person waiting who wants it on-- mind you the person waiting IS NOT EVEN A PAYING CUSTOMER/Patient. The receptionist takes it personally that we asked for the volume to be turned down and said "Don't talk to me that way.". It seems that they have more interest in promoting Netflix stating again " its company policy we have this on and it must be high volume so everyone can hear it." Well if you are sick DO NOT GO THERE. If you want to watch a movie at loud volumes-- this is your place.!! HEY company exec's, you may want to revisit your policy that REQUIRES people in the lobby to watch stupid movies while waiting to be seen. It really doesn't make sick people better!! And your rude staff had no consideration for my mother and how bad she feels only that she watch and listen to your stupid movie!! Hey also, you only have 1 wheel chair.... May be if you spent less on movies may be you could afford more medical equipment.
