Honestly, I am not big on public pools that are maxed out in capacity. It has never been my scene. So why did I go then? Socializing! I don't think I even left the cabanas until it was time to leave.
I can only review on my experience in the cabanas, I didn't even venture to the over populated pool. From my viewpoint, the pool looked like a zoo so it was cabana time! I have to say, it was fun. I met several Elites that I have not met and their plus ones. It looked as if everyone was having a great time, there was a lot of smiles and conversation.
For Food and drink: There were two types of bottles- Vodka and Rum plus mixers for the booze. I really thought more water should have been provided though. There was also beer but I am not a beer drinker so vodka and rum it was, although there could have been more water. Oh, I said that already.
The food was food- finger foods of sliders, chicken strips and waffle fries. Plus a plate of fruit and veggies. I honestly was not expecting a full spread and I think the self service was better than servers bringing out the food on trays. At one past YEE pool party, the servers brought out food on trays and it was a mess. Some people got a lot and some got none. I was one who got none, so I opt for the self serve food at events.
This was a pretty good event for a Sunday. No complaints although there could have been more water! ;)
