So we have spent a lot of time in cities like San Francisco where good ethnic cuisine is on every corner. I have always loved Peruvian food so I was anxious to try this place.
Let's start with service. There is sufficient staff here, but it appears they have only a single waiter. We waited about 10 minutes for our order to be taken despite the place not being too busy. Drinks would arrive 10-15 minutes after ordering. I felt the service may be attributed to culture more so than just being slow. In either event the slow service was a big negative given the menu prices.
Food. Overall we felt the food was decent. They overlooked the steak, but otherwise all ingredients were tasty. Compared to other Peruvian places I have tried this place was in the middle.
Price. The menu prices are a bit high given the above. I feel they should reduce their prices by 20-30% or improve their service and food.
Verdict. This place has plenty of potential. I would not return for dinner because there are better options in the area. They do have a reasonably priced lunch menu so I might give that a shot in the future.
