  • This place has surprisingly excellent service! During a very busy night with a large group, we always had chips and full cups of water. That being said, I tried the chips and guacamole, two types of tacos (pork and steak) as well as the steak quesadilla meal. The chips and guacamole were tasty and the guac was well done. The tacos were alright, with the flavor of the pork ones being much more bold and tasty. With some lime squeezed on, they're pretty tasty. I do think that Tienda Los Gamelos has better tacos though. The steak quesadilla was also very good. It was very cheesy and thick, and if this is what you're looking for, very very very filling and oily (but that's something you have to have once in awhile, right?). The refried beans and rice that come with it are very tasty. The minor downsides, again, are the crazy greasiness as well as the tiny portion of guac that is included (less than a tablespoon). However, overall, this is a budget friendly establishment with great, authentic Mexican food!
