  • My 1977 Chevy broke down 3 blocks from Gil's, the locals told me about him so i had it towed. Gil stopped what he was doing and repaired my truck so i could get back to work. Not only did he do a great job, replaced the starter, but he was extremely fair on the price. I took my truck back as it destroyed the starter, Gil found the issue, the flywheel, and replaced it in a timely manner and for far less than what others were asking. In addition he tightened the belts, adjusted the shift lever and checked the rear main seal. All for less than he quoted me. He said it did not take him as long as he thought. HE CHARGED ME LESS THAN WHAT WAS QUOTED!!! When does that happen? NEVER... It is nice to find an HONEST man in business. I drive 40 minutes to get to his shop and it is worth every minute. Gil, thank you.
