  • BEWARE OF THIS AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR SHOP! Yesterday I brought my vehicle in for a cheapo oil change and tire rotation. Over the course of the "complimentary safety check", I was informed The truck needed new brake pads, rotors, serpentine belt, seals in the reared, and transmission seal. The low, low, price was only $1407.00, plus tax...Initially I thought Tom (owner), was legit....after getting a second opinion, I found there were parts that were quoted (rotors, etc), that were said to be pitted, needed replacement....not true....I purchased what was needed to do the repaired at Auto Zone, and had the work done elsewhere for a total of $290.00, parts and labor included..... What really set me off is when Tom told an older woman that had a problem with her "tire pressure monitoring system", would be $138.00 to replace the unit, and install it......this part on Amazon is $14.00, then you can get it installed......White Wheel on w.152nd on Lorain is a good spot to start...Taking advantage of a naive woman in an auto repair shop is lower than low, she had no idea,and was set up to be led to slaughter...... You've been forewarned, please find an honest mechanic, that services what is broken and needed, not someone padding the repairs to fill their pockets....
