  • Moving isn't cheap, but the rates quoted by Umbrella Movers are the best out of the two other well-known moving companies used in town that I requested quotes from. Plus, they do a bang up job without banging up your furniture along the way to your new pad. I paid a labor fee, a one-time travel fee, and a fee for the U-Haul rental truck and fuel. Keep in mind that the move begins once the movers retrieve the truck from U-Haul and head to your home, and approximately $17.00 is charged for every 15 minutes that goes over the two-hour minimum. Fortunately, my move wasn't too far from my previous residence and there were only a few large items of furniture to transport, so I saved money on travel time and the size truck used. Service is professional, quick, and thorough. Furniture is inspected for any existing damages, and then carefully wrapped. The movers were fast with unloading my items. Although you can keep belongings stored in drawers, it's best to remove them prior -- the movers greatly appreciate this! Umbrella Movers made moving to my new place easy and stress-free. I strongly encourage using their services.
