  • Tested a battery twice and gave great advice, free. See details below, if you care to know what happened. Battery died on our car. Battery is only 12 months old but in this heat batteries don't last very long. The heat simply destroys them, quickly. So I jumped the car, drove it to O'Reily's and disconnected battery. Took the battery in, and a forbidding faced gentleman helped me. Despite his outward appearance he was very helpful. Not full of a lot of words, but nonetheless insightful! Battery tested fine, so they asked if the connection was tight? (It wasn't) They said re-connect it all, and drive around to charge it up for a while, and bring it back the next day to test under a load. I did that, and it was just the connectors. They even used two different load tested just to make sure. Great service & employees!
