| - It's a really beautiful, sparkling, new hotel geared toward a younger (20's-30's) demographic.
During the day, my wife and I (early 30's with a love of 80's music) came and spent a good deal of time on the video poker machines and just slowly playing roulette out on the floor. They were pumping awesome 80's tunes into the casino, it was super quiet, and relaxed. We won some money there, and left happily. Drink service was consistent and pleasant. The dealer/spinner guy at the roulette wheel was super pleasant and friendly (they're taking your money, so it's the least they can do).
My wife and I came back at night, and it was a completely different experience. The laid-back, 80's throwback vibe that had hooked us in was now replaced with a much more modern, Millenial-friendly atmosphere. It was loud, smokey, and obnoxious. Hipsters hung from chandeliers and the corners like a pirate crew besieging a coastal whorehouse. It was a completely different experience, and we did NOT like it.
So- if you're looking for a quiet, low-key place during the DAYTIME hours, go. That's when all the skinny jean-ed turds are getting over their moscato hangovers, apparently. If you want to avoid a party atmosphere which is obnoxious in feel, avoid at night. If you don't like what I have to say, reverse it and you'll be fine.
Regardless, it's a BEAUTIFUL hotel, it's sparkling and brand new. Definitely worth a look.
