  • I was thoroughly impressed with my experience here and would recommend this business to anyone. I came in with two boots (separate styles) with malfunctioning zippers and torn rivets. I was greeted by a very friendly man and I explained to him that I ''needed new zippers''. The man examined the boots thoroughly and told me that they didn't actually need new zippers, they just needed the zippers to be fixed. The man could easily have agreed with my mislead request for new zippers and charged me accordingly - $40 each. Instead, he was honest, told me that new zippers were not necessary, and that it would be only $25 per boot to fix the current zippers. Not many businesses would be this honest - most would have played me for a fool and taken the extra cash. I really appreciated their honesty. They did a great job and my boots are as good as new. The turnaround time was excellent - I dropped them in Friday morning and they were ready first thing Monday. There was a different man working when I came in to pick the boots up, he was equally friendly and handed me my boots in a cute yet sturdy bag - handy for those who may not have brought a bag with them for collection. I know praising a business based on location is completely subjective - but this place is essentially inside Bay subway station - totally convenient for just about anyone living or working anywhere downtown. Would I have gotten cheaper pricing elsewhere? Perhaps, but the quality of the repair, the convenience, and above all the friendly, honest customer service here will ensure that I will be returning here next time I need a shoe repair.
