| - Take a walk on state street, get within a block from this store front {enter the jingle, "follow your nose, it always knows"} and the wonderful sweet aroma of chocolate, ice cream and delicious waffle cones hits your face, and begs you to come in.
I've had a few of their truffles before. Champagne, hazelnut, malt, and lemon were all delicious. My most favorite indulgence from this store so far is the turtle candies. I've had the milk chocolate, and the dark chocolate coated, as well as both the cashew and the pecan (come to think of it maybe the cashew variety are called cashew clusters). Nonetheless, all were spectacular. My favorite though is the milk chocolate. Biting into one of their turtle cluster candies (whether it be milk or dark chocolate) is such a delight. The chocolate coating is wonderfully thick, and snaps when bit into, just as it should. The insides are plump with wonderful caramel hugging tender nuts. A beautiful balance of both.
I really do intend to try some of their other offerings, like the fudge. As it is now, I'm perfectly happy stopping in just for a turtle that they do so well.
This store is conveniently close to at least 2 different coffee shops! Match made in heaven!
