I was a patient of theirs who had nothing but good words to say about them until today when I decided to find a different practice to go to. Honestly, Dr. Arthurs and the RDH there are amazing. So that's why I give two stars... The first time I came in, staff was great and idk what happened but they seriously need to figure it out especially with that receptionist that's there now. I've tried calling since last week several times a day to try and schedule an appt for a follow up cleaning, but I didn't get to speak with an actual receptionist and it seems as if I'm always having to listen to the automated voicemail.... Surprisingly after calling for maybe the 100th time, I finally got an answer by the receptionist who worked this evening before closing and I'm so shocked at how rude and unhelpful this girl was. I didn't catch her name and I wish I did!! Anyway, I tried scheduling my six mo cleaning (I receive emails to alert when to sched appts) so I knew I was passed due. That receptionist literally ignored every word I said just bc it was the end of the day and seriously was just trying to get off the phone! Working at a doctor's office, I know it's frustrating to answer a call before closing time but seriously just answer earlier in the day then! I repeatedly told her that I needed to schedule for a clean up and she was argumentative with me stating I "didn't need a cleaning and I cannot bypass the doctor" I told her I know when to sched my appts and asks to put me on a long hold then finally decided to help sched my appt... I specifically told her I would please like a tues/thurs morning only appt and it didn't matter when it was for just those preferences were fine.. She then consistently offers me Wednesday appts after telling her all of that then I repeated myself AGAIN and she finally offers an appt for Tuesday at the end of the month but at 2pm and I repeated once more I could only do morning and we can aim for the following month butbshe responds with "well ummmmm I don't know then there's nothing" and that's when I had enough and told her it was fine. It's so absurd to receive this type of customer service at a place you go to for your top needs. I work at a medical office and I know exactly that that is not how you treat anyone especially in the medical/dental field. Seriously should think again on the environment you work at, or take that attitude to a fast food joint or something bc that's where it's expected..
