Cold Tea is the type of place that grows on your heart as you walk down the fluorescent-lit flea market hallway lined with dusty romance novels, incense and vintage sportswear and through the door under the red light to discover a bumping summer patio party serving PBR, box noodles and the city's best negronis, and then one sunny Sunday afternoon in September a nice boy buys you one of those negronis and you make out on the Augusta sidewalk and don't stop for 5 months until you return to the newly renovated Cold Tea, now home to a restaurant called Juanmoto with a full menu starring the Tempura McFly - a mindblowing fried chicken sandwich that you awkwardly share as the sauce drips everywhere but you're definitely not sharing next time because you'll need one all to yourself now that your Cold Tea heart is broken.
