| - Unfortunately, no longer my favorite. Seriously, they could not have gotten us out of there any faster: we sat and were handed a drink menu then within 5 seconds, approached for a drink order-wow, let me look... no martinis? So I had water :( for Valentine's Day (boo). Next, The waitress was nice but not friendly... when she was facing us, she spoke kindly but fled before we finished speaking.... Boo. I ordered Scotch Beef Sliders without horseradish and crispy fries and you know, they came with horseradish:(. Very difficult to get the waitress' attention because she was asking for feedback before I took my first bite (again feeling rushed) and I said the fries were good. I got her attention and told her there was horseradish on them, she grabbed the plate and was gone before I could say that I wanted them to go so that I could save room for dessert. I finally flagged down the busser who told her for me. She came to the table to let me know they are ready but I explained that I will be too full for dessert and I want dessert - she stepped away and several minutes later, brought the bag of food and apologized and scurried away. I really wanted the coconut cream pie I saw on the menu earlier so I waited and waited, watching her flit from here to there and finally caught her attention to get a dessert menu. To my dismay, no coconut cream pie. When she came back I explained that I had my heart set on coconut cream pie that I must have read on the Tavern's menu. She said ok, scooped up the menus, walked away. She completed our billing and transaction very briskly and we were on our way. They did comp the to-go sliders which was nice but that wasn't the problem-it was the experience. My husband had a great meal by himself. When the waitress did come to our table, she was unsure of the menu and unfriendly. She asked me if the horseradish was mixed in with the beef and I said, no, it's on the bun. And she spoke nicely and in a sweet voice but it seemed like she couldn't get away any faster - mid sentence. Anyway, if we go again, it will be to-go
