  • Could customer service get any worse? I don't know how long I walked around without anybody greeting me or approaching me. I didn't care at first, as I like to independently check out the store without somebody hounding me - but a simple "hello!" would suffice. I walked around for about 45 minutes without one person approaching me. When it came time that I needed help, every associate that I went up to would either rudely say "I can't help you now..." or would simply ignore me and walk past me (I'm not exaggerating). I had to stop and text my sister in law to ask her if I looked like a child with no money and that's why they chose not to pay me any attention. I had full intentions in mind to spend some money on a new painting or two and was even looking into purchasing one of those big comfy circular chairs. However, the service in this place made me think I want to spend my money elsewhere. Instead, I decided to spend only what I had left over on a gift card. When that time came, I had to literally jump out in front of an associate to ask her to get a matching vase, for the one I currently had, down for me, which she did - thank you. Then I was ignored for another 10 mins or so at the register. The girl kept taking more "expensive" items before me and then said "oh, have you need helped?" Me - "nope, still waiting..." Her - "sorry, this lady is still searching for more items" Me- "I was wondering if I could get (item that was on the wall), I didn't see it anywhere on the floor" Her - (annoyed) asked another girl to go look. Other girl - looked in the back and told me they don't have any left. Me - "can I have the one on the wall ?" Her - (rude tone) "nope, I'm not allowed" and walked away. Now, I waited ANOTHER 10 mins before finally being helped by the one nice associate. I asked about the wall decor again and she politely told me WHY they aren't allowed to take it down, but then told me that another one had been returned, so I could buy that one. So, all in all, thank you to the one nice associate. You get the star in this rating. Overall, I'm not sure why this urban barn thinks they're so high end and only caters to the pretentious looking people out there...but I'll gladly take my money elsewhere to find better quality items. And - I managed to have$1.99 left over on my gift card too! WHOOP! No money lost.
