  • Love the convenience of Gimme Java and love their coffee. BUT - how many times do I have to walk to the coffee shop only to find it not open when they are supposed to be open. It happened again yesterday and we weren't the only ones waiting for them to open who ultimately just walked away to go somewhere else. Advice to the owner: Coffee is mostly consumed in the morning (when addicts like me need it most) and many people work in the morning. So why not open at 6:30 or 7 and most importantly - open when you say you'll open. The fact that the morning crew at Gimme Java can't seem to get there in time to open - even at the incredibly late (for a coffee shop) hour of 8am - is a real hindrance to their long-term success. I would much rather support a local business than Starbucks - but if you can't open on time, I can't give you my money or my support.
