| - I would say i'm "not really excited at the premise of heights" but...I like to challenge myself.
I like rides, so why wouldn't I like them on top of a building?
Of the three options (I don't count the jump off the building one as a ride, more of a "daredevil / why would you do that" experience), I figured this would be the best one to start with. Well, I immediately reexamined my thought process as the arm started to move out to dangle me off the side of the very, very tall building.
The ride itself spins and angles you down, so you really get an awesome view of everything - strip, mountains, airport, houses. Again and again. The "I don't like heights that much" thing kinda goes out the door once you are strapped in, accepting that there is no room for a "nah, i'm good, i'll get off before we start."
There is no bad seat, there is no best seat. The ride itself doesn't last too long, so if you find yourself freaking out, know it will be over soon. Should you have the unlimited ride pass (which I recommend getting simply because the cost is so minimal) and you thought this was too short...know you can go again.
As I am typing this, I feel the urge to go again. It's intimidating to start, but once you are out there...just let it all go and enjoy it.
I was here in the middle of the day where the temperature was knocking on 108 - so there were no lines at all. If we had more time, I would have some back at night, because I feel that would add an extra level of thrill to the whole experience.
Insanity...I will ride you again!
