  • This is one of the best Gyms in the markham area . I have been a prior member at several good life locations, YMCA and planet fitness . Those other gyms don't even compare to this location . I have also gone to the other lafitness location In Scarborough and it is not the same. Pros - Huge space Tons of cardio and fitness equipment Basketball court 3 sets of free weights ranging from 10 pounds to 80 pounds - this means no waiting Spin studio - several time options for classes Fitness studio - for other classes Separate area for women to work out .. I think the guys might not see that as a pro Sauna Hot tub Pool Ample locker space even with the huge volume of people in here Cons Front staff could be more helpful /nicer Have a towel service No salt water pool The cleanliness in the lockers could be better The Sauna heat could be better Other locations have a squash court Overall - for the price .. and no contract needed and the location where it is . I love my gym . I'm here 3-4 days a week here and I would not go to another gym . Just wish they improved on the things indicated above
