I rarely get a chance to get out for sushi because my wife doesn't like it. She generously agreed to go with me tonight so I could have sushi and she could order a salad or tempura or similar. My point is, that it was a special sushi night out for me and 18 ruined it!
Her salad was $9 bucks, our soda water was $5, and I left so dissatisfied after getting a $46 bill I felt like all I ate was an appetizer. I had to finish her salad just so I wasn't hungry when I left. I've never seen skimpier cuts of fish in my life. The sashimi was so thin I could read the numbers on my credit card right through it. The $13 Alaskan roll I ordered would've starved a baby seal. Absolutely pitiful. It's a shame when a business must put profits so far ahead of customer satisfaction. I will never go there again which probably ain't saying much because they'll be closed within a year unless the owner wises up. Baffled in Ballantyne.
P.S. From what I could tell the quality was there but if you're looking for a reasonable portion, this is not the place for you unless you're a scientist looking for microscope samples. I'm gonna need to bump up my readers to 250. The waitress was very nice.
