***YELP 100 CHALLENGE 21/100***
I had high hopes for this place and was really looking forward to making it my regular spot to get massages and facials. Unfortunately, I had a less than favorable experience here and I don't think I will be going back. Everything went on smoothly up until the last parts. First of all my massage was only 50 minutes and not the 1 hour I had paid for, I know this because there is a clock by the massage table and I looked at the time when she came in. Towards the end I started feeling weird, shortness of breath like an allergy coming on. After I got dressed I went immediately to the bathroom, and yup when I looked at the mirror my eyes were swollen and blood shot. All I wanted was to get out of there to get home and take some Benadryl but instead they had my mom and I wait so they could try to sell us a membership. I asked them what kind of lotions they use as I was trying to figure out what caused the allergic reaction. It was a turn off that it seemed more of a priority on their end to sell us the monthly membership than the welfare of their clients. I told them, how could I think of coming back if every time I come I would have allergies possibly due to the lotion they use. They said I could bring my own. Ummmm NO thanks. They did apologize and gave me samples of another lotion and oil they use as an alternative, but I would not risk it. They also said they were going to call me the following day to check on me, 4 days later still no call.
