As a Phoenix native, how the hell have I not been here before? Honestly, I skipped this place because I heard it was a club. And a BBQ place. But I've never heard of friends coming here for BBQ, only drinking. It's on a rough-ish side of town. WHY THE F*CK ARE THEY TELLING ME ABOUT DRINKING HERE AND NOT EATING? Skipped this place for years. Mistake. I recently started back up at school and had to drive down the i17 for many miles a couple times a week. I ride a motorcycle and never had to look at the signs when I passed this place. IT SMELLS SO F*UCKING GOOD!! I always knew when I was passing Peoria/Dunlap. I decided to have my birthday dinner here despite having never been before. I call the day-of my dinner and make a reservation for 20. No problem. They ask if I want separate checks while making reservations. Being in the industry, this is a good sign. They greeted us all with waters and we had two servers. We all get served basically at the same time. Impressive. Best ribs I HAVE EVER EATEN, EVER. Dope. At this point I'm pretty hammered and totally feeling myself. They bring me a fuggin complementary dessert with a candle and now I am vaguely remembering my friends signing to me...BUT I AM SO FULL. What the actual F*CK am I supposed to do with this ice cream? I take a bite and all of the sudden there are these little baggies of the best donut things I've ever put in my mouth. So hot and perfect and mushy and yum. I need to go back. Seems like a perfect place to grub and then party on. Next time I'll get less drunk at dinner and try to venture into the club scene they have. Hopefully it isn't too hood!! Lol
