  • I love the movies & what's better than being able to grab a drink too!! Unfortunately the bar service here has been poor the last few times I've been here. Today was no exception! I was the only minority at the bar, dead center, but for some reason the 2 gentlemen working the bar failed to acknowledge me...one being 6' or taller! I was standing right in front of the beer draft and they both came to refill a customer drink...no acknowledgement. And mind you they were not swamped...they were each focused on refills or cashing out customers who didn't even ask to be cashed out. After waiting for about 5 minutes...4 white women showed up to my left and were instantly given napkins and the drink menu, so I had to speak up and ask to get some assistance too as clearly that was the only way I was going to get a drink!! Maybe the bar service sucks because they are not allowed to receive tips? Who knows, but I don't make the rules, so the employees should either find a job where they make tips or learn to put on a smile regardless of their mood. Harkins definitely needs to improve their customer service! I'll be going to iPic or AMC!
