 | - Is there an actual set loop for the booty? You won't find any arrows marking the trail or maps laying around, but any runner in Charlotte is familiar with the loop. In gist, it's sidewalks around Meyer's Park that have developed a reputation for fantastic backside views--wealthy neighborhoods mixed with private school campuses can have that effect. If you're new to the loop, I recommend parking on the corner of Queens Road and Providence [it's a five-point intersection also looping in Selwyn Ave]. Follow Selwyn and Queen's Road W. and it makes for about a three mile loop [https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1dloJ8WJnhukGrN2bnZSEYrfQfLY&hl=en]. However, you can easily get fancy and make your way into Freedom Park and towards the Sugar Creek Greenway for an extended run, you can do this by running down Queens Road, which turns into E. Morehead Street. You'll find two water fountains along the route, one in front of Queen's University and one between Sherwood Ave. and Pembrook Ave. off Selwyn. While the trail doesn't have designated bathrooms, Queens is a college campus, and you can easily pop into any of the buildings along the route.
Overall, an easy run with extended ups and downs throughout the beautiful neighborhood of Meyer's Park. They also have various events here throughout the year for runners and bikers. On that note, this loop is also very biker friendly, but you also must watch out for the bikers if you're running, they don't always stop for runners!
