The best Montreal style bagels in the city!!! Especially when they're hot and fresh..which is how the ladies behind the counter handed them to me. Montreal style bagels are boiled before they are baked in a wood oven, which makes them slightly sweet and scrumptiously chewy.
Was craving lox and cheese, but the salmon in the fridge didn't look particularly appetizing, so I took my hot bagels home and picked up cream cheese and smoked salmon elsewhere.
Too bad it's a fair drive from home... Otherwise I'm sure we'd be having g fresh bagels from St Urbain every morning! Yum!
