  • Even though it says 'appraisal' and 'custom design' on the front glass of the store, they don't do any of that here. Briefly chatted with the store clerk who told me I would have to go to two other Brownlee locations for each service and that each service is 'appointment only' - which she couldn't even do here because the calendar is kept at another store and evidently there's some type of time space paradox that prevents her from calling them. Don't waste your time coming here. Note: check out Malak Jewelers in the same shopping center instead. I went right it over, got helped by a real jeweler right away and they actually DO offer all the services advertised on their window. Much better selection as well. Funny to mention when I left Brownlee because I said I'd like to find one store that did both appraisal and custom design work in one location, the clerk at said incredulously 'I don't know where you think you'll find that!' - uh, how about right next door?
