rev:text	My partner and I were invited to a company event at the Novotel Mississauga and we decided to also book a room for an overnight stay. To start off, their food at the event was AWESOME. I have no complaints about the service- they were prompt and on top of serving all 80+ of us in a timely manner and they made sure everyone got what they requested. A couple people even said to me that this food is better than most food they've had at fancier places. I got the vegetarian dish which was mushroom risotto, first accompanied by a red pepper soup and salad and followed by an apple crumble type of dessert. My meat eating friends who ordered salmon, turkey or steak also had great things to say. As for the hotel itself, it's a little outdated. The carpets and hallways look like they're from the 70's or 80's but whatever right? When we checked it at the front desk, the very kind gentleman serving us upgraded our room to a King which was a very nice surprise. Our room was great! Looked a little outdated as well, but the bathroom ... oh that glass shower stole my heart! It was a large walk in glass shower, the floors of the bathroom were heated and overall you can tell that the bathroom had been updated. Lovely! The room was a little small but we didn't mind. We were only there to sleep after the party. Loved the large windows, loved the little mini fridge to keep our drinks in, and loved the giant bed! As others have mentioned, parking costed money but thankfully the cost was covered under our company event. Overall, nice place. I would recommend it to anyone in the area who needs a hotel to stay at.
