  • I used to live in Vegas and moved back a year ago. My old stylist moved to start up his own business elsewhere - he used to go to L.A. frequently to do hair shows and learn new techniques, so I really trusted him. Finding a new place/person to go to was going to be tough. I searched reviews, trying to find somewhere to go that wasn't phony, that actually had talented staff, and that wasn't outrageously overpriced. I definitely found that at Kelly Cardenas! This was the second time I've been to the salon. It was a last minute decision to get my hair cut, so I went with Justin, since he had an opening in the afternoon. I'm so glad I decided to try him! Justin is awesome - he made sure he understood what I wanted, gave me his vision of what he wanted to do, made sure I was okay with that, and then kept me up to speed on what he was doing every step of the way. In the end, my hair turned out amazing! I couldn't have felt better about the entire experience, and am so glad that his vision of what he wanted to do with my hair turned out to be better than I could have imagined. That's when I know I've found someone I will return to - when I don't have to tell them exactly what to do, since they are creative enough to see what will look good on me. I think others have raved about how friendly the staff is, how nice/clean the salon is, and the great zen area they have to wash your hair/give you a scalp massage. I won't go into detail about those facts, except to say they are all true and I've had a great experience each time I've been here. This is my first review on Yelp. I felt so good about my hair, I had to create a login just to share my experience. Since the only way I found this place was reading the reviews of others on here, hopefully mine will also make a difference for someone else out there looking for a great hair place to go to. I highly recommend Justin! Thanks again, JUSTIN!!!!
