  • Desert Ridge Marketplace seems to be showing it's age, despite some recent renovations and the addition of some artificial grass. (.....). Many stores are closed lately. Still, I DO enjoy coming here on occasion. The shops that are open are decent, and provide a pretty wide variety of products. Love Barnes & Nobel. The AMC Theatre is my usual go-to spot for movies: love the cozy reclining seats. The thing that's always been my gripe with Desert Ridge is the poorly conceived ( in my humble opinion ) access to the Marketplace itself. Getting in and out of the place is usually a slow process, and more often than not it's a bottleneck when coming in from Tatum Blvd, especially during the weekends and evenings. Parking isn't awesome either, but fairly plentiful. There is also a fairly extensive selection of restaurants on the property, mostly all chains, but you're likely to find something to your liking. Finally, don't forget Total Wine. This alone will serve as reason enough to stop by, lol. Enjoy.
