| - Hmm where do I start....
My friend bought me a deal via livingsocial it was for a wash, cut, style, color, treatment and blow-dry. The whole deal. It's also in Richmond Hill, and I live in Mississauga so its pretty far but I went because it was a gift and I just wanted to check it out. Mind you, I don't drive so I had to bus it.
So when I got here I had to admit I was a little late to my appointment for 12pm. It took me 3 hours to get there. When I got there, the place was empty, only one customer getting her hair blow-dried with only 3 employees working in the salon including the owner. Im not sure if she was the owner or the manager, but she was clearly annoyed that I was late in which I understood perfectly fine, i would be too. Mind you, When I called to make the appointment that week, I let her know that I was in fact coming from Mississauga on bus so I would do my absolute best to be there for my appointment on time, she was okay with it. Since I was in fact late I told her that I could wait or come back later that day, but since it wasn't busy she took me in.
The whole time I was there, she kept on insisting on the fact that I was late and that she hated the fact that I brought a coupon, and that she hated that she was only going to get about $5 for the service they were going to do. From start to finish that's all she did, was complain and brag, she made a major attitude problem. The manager didn't do anything at all...nothing. meanwhile the girl who was actually cutting the hair and the volunteer they had were doing all the work. The manager kept stressing out the other employees including me, the customer.
The service I got was rushed, the color I got was not the color I wanted. The cut itself was okay because the girl who cut my hair was doing a good job, but she was rushing so it didnt cone out like how i wanted it to. During the process of getting my hair cut the manager told the hairdresser to switch to another customer, because there was another customer waiting. Oh no wait she didn't just tell her, she yelled at her to do it about 3 times. I was literally fuming at this point, the only reason I didn't walk out was because I didn't want to walk out with wet hair and a half ass cut. You could tell The hairdresser just wanted to slap the manager. She was pissed. The manger was rushing her 2 employees while she was taking her sweet ass time with one customer in whom she was taking forever with because she was talking soo much, And not really concentrating on the job.
I eventually left stressed out because of the manager kept making me feel bad because I was a little late, letting me know about 10 times that it was my fault and giving me dirty looks. As a person who used to work at a beauty salon, I know that you have to expect everything even people being late but you have to be a professional about it, In which she was NOT. I will never ever come back here for many reasons, the service was really bad, the obvious reason that's it's too far, and because the owner kept Making me so incredibly uncomfortable. The other two employees were nice and okay at their job, meanwhile the manager was a total ass. I don't understand why there is only 2 people working plus the volunteer at a hair salon in downtown Richmond hill on a Saturday afternoon.
I don't know how much my friend payed for the deal but this makes me never want to buy a deal from any site if this is the service you're going to get. If I could give this place no stars, I would. No professional service at all! This place should be shut down for the worse service they give.
