I don't understand why this company has such a good rating. First, they could't figure out why the A/C stopped working intermittently. Because they couldn't figure it out, they replaced a thermostat and charged us over $250 for a $50 thermostat even though that didn't fix the problem. Then when we called on a weekend because it wasn't working again, they kept repeating that we would be charged extra to fix the problem even though we said they never fixed the problem we overpaid for. When they came to service it again, the unit was working but we told them we were still having the same problem. It wasn't working the previous night but it started working before they showed up. At that point, they said they still couldn't do anything because it was working.
My husband's a contractor too. If somebody calls him about a problem, he fixes it. If it breaks again or is not done correctly, then he returns even on a weekend to fix the problem.
In an effort to avoid another sleepless 90 degree night in the bedroom, we're switching companies and getting a new unit.
