Ever since my daughter went gluten-free we've been searching for the perfect spot for our traditional after-church family breakfast. We found it at Randy's!
From the moment we walked in the door the service was impeccable. Our first visit was on St Patricks Day and the place was packed. That did not hinder their customer service one bit. Everyone was cheerful and helpful and it had a fun, "everyone knows your name" atmosphere.
Once we were seated our server took our drink order right away and returned with our drinks before we could even decide what we were going to eat. She remained this attentive the entire time.
Now, I am a bit of a blueberry pancake snob and like my pancakes just right- soft and chewy, not too thick or bread-like. Randy's aces the test! Yummy!
As for value, you definitely get your monies worth. Their omelettes come with toast and potatoes but you can upgrade the toast to pancakes, which we did since we like to share. The kids meals are all of $4.25 and include drinks so you're not paying an arm and a leg for your kids to have juice with their meal. Our total bill for 5 people was around $34 - very reasonable.
Did I mention that they have fresh brewed passion fruit iced tea? It sounds silly but I am also a tea snob and was giddy when I found great service and great food plus my favorite tea, all in the same place.
Overall Randy's is a great place for a family meal. We can't wait to come back.
