Did I really never review this place? I've only been here like 9372758274728573 times already haha
It's okay, better late than never right?
SOLID Four star in terms of food and drinks!
My friends and I came here one time and we truly tested out their drinking menu. Similar to Pointe Brugge, it has a bunch of beer selections. However, my personal favorite is their Moscow mule served in a copper/tin looking glass/mug! It's fun to drink and the taste is very nice and smooth. Not too sweet and easy to sip on. But if you are into beers, they have many other selections. They even have tasty virgin drinks for any pregnant ladies out there!
Onto the food. MUSSELS!! Of course we come here mostly for their mussels. To be completely honest we prefer Pointe Brugge mussels slightly more, but this place is still very good! The only thing is they serve it in one size (1lb I believe)...Pointe Brugge gives a slight more option in terms serving size.
We have also tried their other food as well and it was also very delicious. What they call as their "small plates" are by no means small at all! We made the mistake of telling our friends they wouldn't get enough food with two small plates...that resulted in them going home with a bagful of leftovers lol. Their "flat bread pizza" or whatever it's called in French is really good, and so was their pork belly! If you like fatty food, must try the pork belly. We ordered a few other entree but I don't remember them all - regardless everyone loved their own food! From appetizers to sandwiches to special entree, everything was good.
I couldn't give this place a five star because 1) mussels are better at their sister restaurant and 2) they don't offer the same Belgian chocolate dessert as their sister restaurant.
But yeah, if you are in the area, go explore!
