My friend and I found this place yelping for Filipino food after taking a yoga class at VegasHot down the street. At first I was hesitant about it being a lunch spot because as it is named it seems like a Late Night Karaoke Spot. To our surprise we walked in and the place was full and did not look like your typical Filipino restaurant, this place was actually nicely decorated and clean.
I love the fact that breakfast is served all day long! I ordered a Tinapsilog (grilled fish) breakfast special which was amazing with the Suka (vinegar sauce) that it comes with. The breakfast special comes with 2 eggs, 2 hotdogs and garlic fried rice. For $8.99, it is a great deal! My sister and friend both ordered the Tosilog (Pork Tocino), I tried a bit and it was very flavorful and tender.
The three of us also shared a Beef Sinigang. Although I wished it was served with more vegetables, the broth was perfectly sour (tamarind base) and the beef was of good quality.
Looking at what others were ordering around us and looking at the menu, this place is great for ordering family style. The plates were of good and fairly sized proportions and they looked extremely tasty! Next time I come back with a group of people, we will definitely we ordering "family style.
