  • We ordered a baby shower cake from Madison ave because we loved their cake designs & originality. Prior to ordering I tasted a cupcake & it was delicious. The cake was beautiful & exactly what I wanted, everyone thought that it was beautiful! Then, we tasted it..... It was the worst tasting cake that I have ever tasted! The icing tasted like an inch thick of Crisco topped with gummy Fondant! Totally horrible! The actual cake was ok but that's it. Definately not worth $190.00 for a two tier cake. Everyone at the party agreed. We also bought an additional cake from SAMs club for $18.00 which was 10 times better! Needless to say we won't be returning to Madison Ave Cakes!! If you're looking for a beautiful cake this is the place. Just beware and don't eat it!!
