This is a lunch review. Note their loaves are awesome and you can buy them here Tue-Fri. But that brings up a perplexing point: we came on a Monday for lunch and they were using a pita-like flatbread for their sandwiches. Why??? Their 'regular' breads are famously great (we drive miles out of our way to seek them out -some of the best breads we have ever found anywhere in the world).
The sandwiches are filled with quality ingredients - though my fancy salami sandwhich had too much lettuce for my taste. But the flat pita-pocket bread they used was a disappointment. Why use flat-bread and not the 'regular' breads that made you famous?
Note the area is a zero - and parking can be a bit tight during the noon-hour. The clientele were mostly white collar office workers on their lunch break. Folks behind the counter were very nice. The space is tiny - so expect a somewhat cramped experience at lunch-hour.
