Worst customer service EVER! My husband and I purchased a washing machine from the store on Monday. The sales man (who knew nothing about his products when I asked and literally just read the information off of the sticker) said that delivery was set up for Wednesday. We requested a later delivery time since we both work. We got a message late Tuesday night informing us that our delivery time would be 1-3. We called the number back and informed them that doesn't work for us, which is what we told the salesman. The woman on the phone reset the delivery time to Friday between 4 and 9pm. We got a message on Thursday night informing us that our delivery time was SATURDAY from 4-9. So we called the number again and informed the operator that we were told Friday, not Saturday. She said that was what her computer said. She said she would fix it and my husband confirmed with her twice that we were indeed set for Friday from 4-9pm. We got a message tonight (Thursday) saying that our delivery was set for Friday...between 1 and 3!!! We called back...again...and told them that was not what we were promised. My husband spent 48 minutes on the phone only to ultimately be told that there was nothing they could do. Now our choice is to either take off of work so we can be home for the delivery or spend our Saturday at home waiting, instead of spending time with our family. I will NEVER purchase anything from Sears ever again. Service like this is the reason that Sears is closing down.
