| - I've had my nails done here probably 7-10 times now and have never had a bad experience. The staff have for the most part been kind and professional, and have always done a good job.
I usually go for a medium-length acrylic and get shellac on top, which I believe comes to around $45 (I'll come back and edit if it's not!) I usually pay by cash as there is a small service fee for the debit/credit machine. This is around average price for Toronto when compared to all the other salons I've been to in the past.
The thing I really love is that no matter who I get, they've always made sure I'm happy with what they're doing every step of the way. I asked for a coffin/ballerina shape once, and to make sure she was thinking of the right shape, the lady drew it out for me on paper to confirm. Also, if you ask them to sculpt the nails thin/natural, they can do it perfectly.
Only complaint is that they don't have their hours posted anywhere other than at the salon, so anytime you may want to go after around 4 or 5, you have to call to make sure they're open.
I would recommend Wonder Nails to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, well managed nail salon in East York. I live in Scarborough and if I have time, I will go out of my way just to come here. :)
