  • I have been shopping at this Smith since the early nineties when it opened. Its always been medium to good as far as grocery stores go, the deli, bakery and produce departments are always well stocked and clean as far as I'm concerned. The issue that I have with this store, and why I didn't give it another star, is the meat department. Not the butchers, the counter people who work in the meat department are extremely rude and will not go out of their way to "thin"a boneless steak for you, or even put bacon in a plastic bag. The guy said "why would you want it in a bag ?" even after I asked, he just wrapped the bacon in paper when I got home I had to put it in my own bag. Don't get me wrong I've never had an issue with anybody else in the store, but the meat department sucks. Flamingo and Decatur the new Smith used to be food for less is much nicer !
