This was my first time here, I had found the shop through Yelp. I'm VERY particular about my hair and my experiences at barbershops which is why after living in LV over a year, I've yet to find a steady shop and barber to go to.
The end result of my visit here was a decent cut, not exactly what I wanted but I had the older gentleman with the thick accent so maybe we just didn't understand each other very well. The first time he was done and handed me the mirror to check the cut, the sides weren't blended in well and it wasn't as short as I wanted up top, I pointed these things out and he went back to work, no attitude or frustration about it.
The straight razor job he did was nice and the hot towel felt good. The 4stars rather than five are from not quite getting the desired cut I wanted and the greeting/ social aspect. I was greeted by perhaps the owner and the barber I got was talking on his phone when I arrived up front. The owner had him end his call to help me out and instead of a hello I got a head nod in the direction of his chair and he only spoke to me when asking about what I wanted. Kinda made me wish I got the guy two chairs down who was talking about The Steelers (Go Steelers!) I don't need a super chatty barber, just maybe a little bit more friendliness would have been nice.
