  • I have been taking my pets to this animal hospital for many, many years. At one point, a few years back, I thought I would have to look elsewhere due to the price increases and pressure to do procedures. I am very happy to report that in the last year, I have seen vast improvement in the "heart" of this operation. I can't remember all of the vets that have been kind-hearted to my pets and my pocketbook, but the last one was Dr. Amgar. He took care of my 14 yr old dachshund, Rocky, when a dog bit him and it got infected. The wound healed quickly after our visit and by following his advice. It could have cost hundreds, but he understood that though I dearly love my animals, I could not spring for the expensive care route, and it cost me less than $100. Rocky is happy and healthy and it didn't put me in the poor house. Thank you, Dr. Amgar! I appreciate the care that the vets here have for the well-being of our furry friends/family.
