Had an appointment last week to get a CPAP machine. Scheduling worked with me to get a convenient appointment time. It was not very pleasant after that.
Banner has a beautiful, huge facility but patient care is lacking. I was taken to a room off the lobby to get my machine. I have had a CPAP machine before and the most important part is getting the right mask. I was shown masks that were "upgraded" with memory foam and was told that the mask I would get would be similar. It was not. Why am I shown a mask I can not get? Also, they had very few out that I could choose from. Obviously, the person showing me the machine and mask has never used one! With the amount of money spent on the facility, how come Banner could not have a better display and choice of masks? I felt like I was annoying the employee by asking questions. It is sad that my insurance dictates where I have to go and it seems poor customer service is the norm.
