| - It's worth a thousand words.
QUICK BACKSTORY:
I was helping my mom clean out her garage and found an old Polaroid 600. I did some research and found out that there's a local place in Vegas that not only carries film for theses ancient relics, but also sells them in nearly mint condition.
When you walk into the Las Vegas Camera Club you're immediately greeted by the owner, Bryan, and his assistant, Shawn. They get right down to it and ask how they can help... "Need film?" or "looking for a camera?"... "Yes to both!" - I say.
I handed them my garage camera and they immediately know what it is, and that they do carry film for this piece of equipment. Upon inspection they say it needs to be cleaned first before they test it to make sure it works. By the way, they clean it for free! After a quick cleaning and few test snaps they sadly come the agreement that it doesn't work and it would cost more to fix than it's worth. I explain that I need a Polaroid camera for an upcoming event. "No problem we can loan you a camera with purchase of film". Problem solved.
Beyond the amazing customer service here, they also have an array of classic licensed Polaroid cameras. An EMT cam, a Coca-Cola cam, and even a Mary-Kay cam. These aren't for sale, but they have an entire wall of cameras that are for your purchasing and moment capturing pleasure.
This might a niche need or service, but do your self a favor and check this place out!
