I went to pink boutique when it was still nail boutique I have been seeing Candice who does acrylics for over two years. When I go to the salon I only book with Candice and I don't go to other salons. Well right around the first of the year I decided that I needed to take my acrylics off for a period of time and I kept reaching out to Candice and asking her how I can book a soak off because that wasn't even an option and a manicure with her since she is the only nail tech I've gone to in over two years. After blowing off my initial message I sent another the following day and she responded to me and told me that she does not do regular manicures it has to be a gel manicure and when I responded and said I've only gone to you for two years girl, you really can't paint my nails ? She stopped responding altogether. Clearly loyalty is not a factor at this salon. I honestly was bummed out I enjoyed my nail lady I always sent people their way out of loyalty and respect. Now that I'm ready to get my nails back on I have no idea what salon to even go to. I feel like the situation was handled terrible and just shows unprofessionalism as well as lack for customer satisfaction.
Glad to know something as small as the difference between a regular manicure & a gel manicure is worth a client you've had for years
