This place is not for amateurs. The wines here are organized neither by region nor by grape nor by any other obvious metric that I can discern, so you should have at least a passing knowledge of what you want so that you can ask intelligent questions to Andrea, the cheerful and vastly knowledgeable proprietor of this establishment. Having said that, this place knows what it's doing. Its selection is meticulous, with a focus on small growers that produce interesting wines that make thought-provoking commentary on the wines of that grape/terroir/vintage. But if you ask, she will deliver. There is enough breadth to cover most price points and culinary situations such that if you want something above and beyond what you can get at a supermarket, then come here.
