I typically don't write reviews but in this case, I'd have to. My family of 5 came in as soon as the place opened. It took us over an hour to get our food. With 3 little kids, that didn't go so well. There was only 1 waitress for the entire place. During the time we were waiting on our food, there were 2 different group of customers that walked out because of how slow everything was.
I ordered the oxtail, which was pretty tasty (a bit salty for my taste though). My husband ordered the fried fish, wasn't too bad and my oldest ordered the chicken and waffles, which I found disappointing as 3 or 4 chicken wings were given(I was expecting big chicken pieces for the price we paid), scrambled eggs and a stack of waffles. Everything was a bit pricey. If you're craving for soul food, I'd recommend this place; however, I don't think I'll be back again due to lack of good service and long wait.
