  • The Avenue's out of the way location is just too inconvenient for me to be a regular customer. Their plus sized clothing is fashionable, but their sizing (as one salesperson told me "is just a number". ) is inconsistent. Consequently, it is sometimes difficult to figure out where to start and more than once I have left exhausted after endless try-ons. I have found that Avenue's pants fit me well so I keep coming back. Unfortunately, they keep changing styles so even on basics like my favorite black knit pants, I've found you better buy more than one or you will never see the style again. They sell cute shoes but they never seem to fit me.On a recent visit, I noticed a lot of cute styles and whether deliberate or just cheap, some of the fabric was just too thin and flimsy. I'm a little too old to have the details of my underwear visible. Their prices keep getting higher and it seems I always need/want something that isn't on sale that week. Nevertheless, if you are plus size, the styles are current and the staff is very accommodating.
