  • In preparation for my parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary Vow Renewal my mom and I ordered beautiful dresses online, which is scary enough! They are in fact gorgeous dresses, but definitely needed to be altered. The crazy long trains would have had us both tripping down the aisle! I work 10 minutes away from Larissa's Shop and have driven by several times so when my mom said she had researched online for a seamstress I knew exactly where to go! Larissa's shop is warm and inviting, like go to a girlfriends house. We started with Mom's dress her diet was a success and the dress needed to be taken in since it was falling off her shoulders and she was in a mild panic, Larissa calmed her and not only fixed the length of the dress and train, but the falling shoulders were fixed perfectly without a trace. My diet was not a success, and although the dress did fit, thankfully and I could breathe. I wanted something to keep me covered and secure since the dress was strapless. Larissa suggested adding mesh and it was the perfect solution and when I picked it up she had let the dress out a little more so I could both breathe and sit! All kidding aside both altered dresses were made better and more beautiful thanks to Larissa!
