  • Some people think that Dr.. Candela is a good doctor. I beg to differ. I was referred by the ER with serious pelvic pain. Took a week for an appointment and two hours plus in the waiting room (and packed like a bus station). When I finally got to see him, Dr. Candela announced that since his (incompetent) staff put me into the computer as a male, he couldn't do an exam even if he wanted to, which apparently he didn't feel necessary - and that in less than 5 minutes. The pain was significant and still unidentified as to cause so I decided to return for a follow up a month later. BIG MISTAKE! After waiting over 1.5 house this time, Dr. Candela didn't even take that 5 minutes to see me but rather handed me off to a new PA, Lola, who told me my best avenue was to get pain shots....So much for fixing the underlying issue. I would not return to this practice if it were the only one in Las Vegas. If I could give negative stars, this practice would deserve it.
