One of the worst experiences I've had with rental car companies! Where do I start?
Try not to rent from airport location because they charge a premium.
Our rental was already "mostly" prepaid with a tour package and we had no
choice with which company. If I knew this ahead of time, I would have booked
my own.
First of all, the lineup was really long and once we got up to the desk, we were told
that it would take 15-20 minutes for our vehicle. We were offered to "upgrade" to a larger
vehicle but we declined.
After waiting over 40 minutes, I approached the desk to inquire about our car since we were told it would only take 15-20 minutes and we were told that it was being "cleaned".
When we finally got our rental, it ended up being the larger vehicle that we had politely declined. I was going to complain but my partner just wanted to get out of there after our flight.
